Commenting before I listen to your reaction. The music was fine, mid-level stuff. I really didn't like the vocal melody. It was very bland. And I didn't like the singer's voice. He sounded like two dozen other singers I've heard before. Re: dynamics. Sometimes words have two meanings. I think Led Zeppelin said that.

My VERY strong opinion is that lyrics don't matter at all in any kind of rock music. If you get good lyrics, then that's just a bonus. Lyrics only matter in country and rap.

I feel like in some songs the lyrics are less important than the delivery of them, and Fear Factory just don't really deliver for me. Especially in this song. I'm not hating on them though! They do have some good songs 😊

The spinning cake is a 3D zoetrope. It is meant for animation. The idea is to have a number of 3D printed figures that represents frames. Then you spin the cake and add a strobe light that syncs the frames. For some reason they chose to not turn on the stroboscopic light. Maybe it did not work out well in the video for the live people. Anyhow, I would really want to see that zoetrope activated by some strobe lights. Please Hanabie, let us see it!

This song definitely has a dark beauty! I really liked how simple the video was. I feel like it fit the song. Idk about the magnifying glass though. I'm sure there's some symbolism behind it, but it went over my head and all I could think was TEETH!!

If you're gonna check out nore from this EP (cause everyone else is already talking about the poetic edda EP) i would recommend checking out Ov brimstone and fire, specifically the Redux version, it's better mixed and in my opinion just sounds better. Their style is "Harajuku" but interesting thing about this video, that you guys mentioned is they are actually cosplaying characters from different anime's and video games in this particular video. Like Matsuri looking like "Rei Ayanami" from "Evangelion". I will also like to add they are going to be releasing a new song on the 10th of this month!
